Immer interessante Beiträge aus der Welt der Medien gibt es im Blog Radioskala von Thomas Kamp DF5JL zu lesen. So erfährt man, daß RTL Luxemburg seine englischen DRM-Sendungen auf 7295 Khz eingestellt hat. Außerdem wird berichtet, daß die Deutsche Welle ab April 2007 voraussichtlich keine Kurzwellensendungen mehr von deutschen Boden ausstrahlt.

ILG Radio gone for the public

ILG Radio is only accessable for professionals anymore. Quoting from the website it reads:
ILG Databases and Software are CONFIDENTIAL, not for the general public and are made only available for the frequency managers or technical departments of radio stations or telecoms ! This is in accordance to the decision of the HFCC and the personal request various ILG clients. Therefore ILG includes technical data which cannot be given to the public.

Shortwave Log freeware

A nice software is Shortwave Log which is now 16 years old. Version 5 is beta tested and will be released as stable in 2007. Shortwave Log is for logging, receiver control and recording. It imports several frequency lists like HFCC, ADDX, SWBC and the Eibi-list is adjusted as it changed its format.
