*WORLD DX CLUB TO CEASE PUBLICATION*<\/p>\n

Regretfully due to health reasons Arthur and Olive Ward have had to
\nstep down from their club duties in charge of membership
\nsubscriptions, despatch of bulletins as well as many contributions to
\nthe content of Contact over the years. Arthur became club printer in
\nJuly 1974 and added his secretarial role in December 1979.<\/p>\n

This leaves the club with too few voluntary staff for the work
\ninvolved and it has been decided to cease publication of Contact. A
\nfinal issue of Contact will be issued in early December. This will be
\nsent free of charge to members. It will include a DX News column, a
\nRadio Topics section, feature articles, a Schedules section containing
\nthe new B12 schedules of many international broadcasters, particularly
\nconcentrating on transmissions in English and a final Logbook.<\/p>\n
