CFN has just posted this on thier facebook page ” CFN Closure Announcement<\/p>\n

As the result of a recent decision the Canadian Forces Network will end broadcast service for good at the end of September 2014. The move comes as a result of budgetary considerations across the Government of Canada.<\/p>\n

If listeners have CFN stories or anecdotes they wish to share and have read on air they can be e-mailed anytime to info@cfneurope.com or you can post comments to our Canadian Forces Network Europe Facebook site.<\/p>\n

The final broadcast will end at 12:00 CET on the 30th of September. I hope you will tune in to join me in saying goodbye.”<\/p>\n

Sad to see this station going,not only did it air AT40,Rick dees weekly top 40,Dick bartleys classic countdown and Bob kingsley’s CT40 it also broadcast some good shows from CBC <\/p>\n
