For those who enjoy studying history, especially early radio history, here’s a real treat.<\/p>\n

‘The History of the development of radio from 600BC to the early broadcast days’ is the title of a wonderful, illustrated website put together by Greg Whiter, VK3CA.<\/p>\n

In six parts, it chronicles the many discoveries and inventions that have led to the development of radio as we know it today.<\/p>\n

All the ususal suspects are here – Samuel Morse, Michael Faraday, Heinrich Hertz, Nikola Tesla, Reginald Fessenden and of course Guglielmo Marconi – plus many other not so well-known names.<\/p>\n
