Japan-test weekend

Mr. Harri Kujala, Finland arranged the “Japan-test weekend” on Janunary 29 and 30 by 9 European and US pirate radio stations to support the DXpedition by the Japanese DXers nicknamed gShinzo h and gRadio Siesta h to Hokkaido, northern Japan.
Some pirate stations in a past individually tested to Japan, but have been unsuccessful.

1) Baltic Sea Radio / Location: Scandinavia
BSR will broadcast on Saturday and Sunday mornings on 14350kHz USB.
Perhaps also on evenings on 7200 kHz USB.

2) Mike Radio / Location: Holland
Mike Radio will broadcast on Sunday 30th Jan. 08.00 – 09.00 UTC
with 250 Watts on AM-modulation. Frequency: 13900kHz.

3) Free Radio Nova / Location: Holland web
Free Radio Nova will be on the air on Sunday 30th January from 07.00 – 09.00 UTC
with 50 Watts in AM-modulation. Frq: 15070kHz

4) Radio Scotland / Location: Holland web
Radio Scotland will broadcast on Saturday 29th Jan. 21.00 – 22.00 UTC
with 250 Watts in AM-modulation. Frequency: 15090kHz (+/- 5 kHz).
And Sunday morning 08.00 – 09.00 UTC on 15052kHz. All in AM-modulation.

5) Old Time Radio / Location: Scandinavia
OTR will broadcast on Sunday morning with power 300W AM.
Frequency: 15009kHz (with 6,5 kHz VFO-shift-steps).

6) WR International / Location: UK web
Wrekin’ Radio International will be on the air on Sunday 30 Jan from 7.30 UTC
till 13.05 UTC with 35 Watts AM. Frequency: 12257.2kHz.

7) Radio Spaceshuttle / Location: Scandinavia web
Saturday: 06:30- 09:30 UTC 9290kHz USB 25 W, 12265kHz AM 50 W
(also on 48 mb 06:00-08:00 UTC 200 W AM).
Sunday: 06:30- 09:30 UTC 9290kHz AM 50 W, 12265kHz USB 25 W

8) Bluestar Radio / Location: Holland web
Bluestar will be on the air on 11485kHz or 14500kHz. Exact dates and
power will be published later.

9) Channel Z Radio / Location: USA
Channel Z Radio will be on the air on Saturday and Sunday
between 2130 and 2330 UTC, with 16 watts AM. Frq. 11428.3kHz.

Uruguay. (Pirate) 6678 Web Radio Infoideas, José Pedro Varela, Dept of Lavalleja. This is a new unofficial radio station from Uruguay (not many in the Uruguayan radio history), running in AM mode, with 25 W nominal (effective 10 W considering current SWR value, feeding an inverted “V”dipole. Radio Six International 26 December 2010

Radio Six International, run by our friend Tony Currie, is offering a treat for offshore fans on Sunday, December 26th, between 0830 and 1300GMT.

“Following the success of our special day devoted to pirate radio back in August, and by public demand, we’re repeating the best of these special programmes on the morning of December 26th. Between 08:30 and 13:00 GMT you can hear the voices of the pirate kings and archive programmes, unbroadcast demos, discussions, documentaries and special compilations.
