Scotland 69AM 31 August 1974 special

Just a little advanced notice…this week’s AJ Show on Scotland 69am is a Dutch MOA Special to commemorate the introduction of the Act on August 31st 1974.

The show will include tracks played by the pirate stations of the day, station themes and an interview with RNI legend Brian McKenzie! Plus the third hour of the show will feature the final hour of RNI.

So tune in at 12noon UK time (1100 GMT) to relive those golden days of the early 70s pirates.

FRS Holland 25 August 2013

Dear FRS Friends,

Following a 6 month break, FRS-Holland will return to the SW free radio airwaves next Sunday (August 25th).
Opposite to our usual broadcasts, this one will take place in the evening hours between 17:52- 22:00 UTC/ 19:52- 24:00 CEST.
FRS-Holland will be on 7600 kHz & 5810 kHz. In case there’s any interference on either channels, we move to 7685 and/or 5800 kHz.
Propagation during evenings has been solid over the past period, so we are looking forward to an evening with loud signals over Central and Western Europe.
It’ll be an ‘old fashioned’ 4 hour FRS broadcast and our full staff will be involved apart from Paul Graham (will be back later this year).
Next Sunday we focus on the Summer of Love 1967, 70s gold (including rare tracks!), 80s & a special on the early 80s Neue Deutsche Welle (new German wave).And of course we have radio related items in all shows (land based free radio & offshore).
Next Sunday: an evening full of nostalgia on your SW receiver….

We are looking forward hearing from you. We invite all our ‘old’ friends to tune in and hope there will also be a number of new listeners as well!
