11. Radiotag Erkrath 17 September 2011

Liebe Radiofreunde
wir möchten euch jetzt auf eine Veranstaltung aufmerksam machen: am Samstag den 17 September findet wie jedes Jahr wieder der Erkrather Radiotag statt. Unser Ehrengast ist diesmal Bert Bennet. Bert ist den Meisten bekannt geworden durch seine Sendungen auf Radio MiAmigo. Interview durch Martin vd Ven @ 15.30 Uhr.

Zur Einleitung des Nachmittages berichtet Jan Sundermann über die aktuelle Sonnenaktivität und ihre Auswirkung auf die HF Ausbreitung @14.15 Uhr. Bei gutem Wetter (wie immer!) kann die Sonne mit einem Teleskop beobachtet werden.

Denn diese Veranstaltung findet wie immer im Observatorium der Sternwarte Neanderhöhe SNH, Sternwartenweg, in 40699 Erkrath statt.
Und zwar von 14 bis 20 Uhr. , Einlass ist ab 12.00 Uhr.

Dear Radiofriends,
we would like to turn your attention to the following: on saturday, september 17th September will be held again the Erkrath Radioday.
Our special guest of this year will be Bert Bennet. Bert is knwon to most of you through his broadcasts on Radio MiAmigo. Interview by Martin vd Ven @15.30.

Starting off the afternoon will be a report about actual solar activity and hf-propagation by Jan Sundermann @14.15. Under good weather conditions (as usual!) it will be possible to observe sun through a telescope.

The event takes again place at the Observatorium , Sternwarte Neanderhöhe SNH, Sternwartenweg, in 40699 Erkrath, Germany. Its from 14 bis 20 hours, entrance starts 12.00 noon.

So , we expect your visit on september 17th for the 11th Erkrath Radioday !

Euroradio 2010 – Saturday 9 October

EURORADIO 2010
France Radio Club and Offshore Echo’s annual event commemorates the best of offshore radio, with special guests and video presentations. Euroradio 2010 takes place in Calais, France on Saturday 9 October, at the Hotel Mercure (previously Hotel Georges V) in the centre of Calais.

Special Guests include:

PETER CHICAGO No need to introduce Peter, who will will talk about his experiences on board the Mi Amigo

RAY ANDERSON involved behind the scenes of offshore radio since the early 70’s with RNI, and later with Atlantis, Caroline and not forgetting Laser Hot Hits

RICHARD THOMPSON better known as Buzby – was a Deejay on Radio Caroline between 1978 and 1980

Our guests will be interviewed by PAUL GRAHAM and LUC DE GROOT

THE EVENT
Euroradio 2010 starts at 2.30pm local time, with a video presentation, including the new Offshore Echo’s DVD on Radio Monique, as well as other video looking at the best of offshore radio. Later in the afternoon, we’ll be talking to our special guests about their offshore radio experiences. The Offshore Echo’s Boutique will be open during the event, featuring a wide range of offshore radio CD’s, DVD’s, Books and related merchandise.

EURORADIO DINNER
Meet our guests and friends informally, in the evening, before the special Euroradio dinner. This takes place in the Café de Paris restaurant, close to the hotel.

Big L meeting 14 August 2010

So it is official… Come along and meet some of the Big L team at Rollerworld in Colchester on Saturday August 14th 2010. I\’ll be there (that\’s Kev) from noon along with Chirpy, Chloe, Eric, Jolly Roger, Chris Byland, Simon, Julian, Cookie, (he thinks) Rob Shaw, Paul Spindley , Steve Collett and hopefully many more of the Big L jocks. (Fellow jocks, please let either me or Chirpy know if you can make it.)
Entry is FREE to listeners of Big L, you don\’t need to skate if you don\’t want to but Rollerworld have kindly said this facility will also be free to our listeners, they\’ll even supply the skates free of charge.
Chirpy is supplying the music and he\’ll be playing hits from 1967 between noon and 2pm. Then the Rollerworld DJ takes over until just before 3pm when we\’ll remember what happened on Monday August 14th at that time. We are welcome to stay until 5pm when Rollerworld closes.
It would be useful if anyone interested could let either Chirpy or myself know if you can make it so we can have an idea of numbers attending.

On Saturday 11th September 2010, we organise the annual meeting for radio makers and listeners for the 10th time in the rooms of the observatory Sternwarte Neanderhöhe , Sternwartenweg , D-40699 Erkrath. The event is scheduled from 14.00 to 20.00 hours EST, entrance is from 12.00 o’clock EST.
We expect these contributions:
-Patrick Lynen, Media Consultant, Author “Das wundervolle Radiobuch“, hr, RTL, SWF3, N-Joy, RTI, BNL and many more
– Jens Hofstad, Radio Joystick , 25 years , the party!
– Michael Böckmann, REAL FM , the video
-Radio Marabu on the isle Teneriffa.
-Jan Sundermann, DRM demonstration.
-Freddy Schorsch : A walkaround on the MV Ross Revenge , Video.

The location:
From Düsseldorf railway station one can get there by train S 8, direction Wuppertal/Hagen. You leave at stop Hochdahl-Millrath and walk the road in direction of the train to small way. on right hand named Hausmannsweg. After a vew hundred meters you see the observatory.

By car you leave Autobahn A 46 at exit Haan West to Erkrath, in the town the way is marked ‘Observatorium’.
The entrance fee is 10.- EURO including a welcome drink.

Veronica Dag 17 April 2010

17 april 2010, Hou ‘m Vrij!

Op 17 april is het weer zover, onze jaarlijkse Veronicadag zal dan weer plaats vinden in Hotel Lapershoek te Hilversum. En ook dit jaar is er net als vorig jaar weer de popquiz o.l.v. Erik de Zwart. Het is de bedoeling om ook dit jaar weer een paar teams samen te stellen die het tegen elkaar gaan opnemen. Tussen 12.00 en 14.00 uur zal er weer live het programma Goud van Out worden uitgezonden via de website. Deze Goud van Out zal in Lapershoek vergezeld gaan de clips die bij elke gouwe ouwe horen.

En als klap op de vuurpijl zal de 7-CD + DVD box “A Tribute To The Pirate Stations” ten doop worden gehouden door platenmaatschappij Universal. Het eerste exemplaar zal worden uitgereikt aan een bekende Nederlander/DJ. Dit alles omdat het dit jaar 50 jaar geleden is dat Radio Veronica begon met uitzenden. De box bevat een aantal zeer speciale opnamen die nog niet eerder op CD zijn verschenen. De CD’s hebben allemaal een apart thema, bijvoorbeeld van Radio Veronica de “Rob Out show”, de “Lex Harding Show”, de “ABTT” en “Alle Remmen Los”.
Maar ook de muziek en jingles van Radio London, Radio Caroline en RNI zijn vertegenwoordigd. Verder is de dag bedoeld om weer met elkaar over de gezamenlijke interesse te praten. Uiteraard zijn er weer diverse oud Veronica medewerkers aanwezig. Ook museum RockArt is aanwezig met een stand.

Er is die dag een verrassing. Welke??

Lapershoek is open om 10.30 uur. En de toegang bedraagt € 5,00.

Radio Market Lichtmis

Radiomarkt de Lichtmis 2009

Op zaterdag 26 september organiseert de stichting R.O.M. weer de jaarlijkse radiomarkt bij wegrestaurant de Lichtmis te Nieuwleusen. Deze markt is m.i. een van de gezelligste markten van het jaar. Dit komt vooral doordat het bijna altijd goed weer is en de markt in de buitenlucht plaatsvindt in een gemoedelijke sfeer.

Ook dit jaar zal wegrestaurant “De Lichtmis” gastheer zijn. Het ligt langs de A28, tussen Zwolle en Meppel, bij de afslag Nieuwleusen-Hasselt. De vele standhouders uit binnen- en buitenland zullen trachten hun koopwaar aan de man te brengen.

De markt is vanaf 08:30 uur voor publiek geopend en de toegang is gratis.

Parkeren

Wij bieden u de mogelijkheid tegen betaling van € 1,- uw auto te parkeren in het weiland tegenover de markt (indien de weersomstandigheden dit toelaten). Wij doen een dringend verzoek aan iedereen hiervan zoveel mogelijk gebruik te maken i.v.m. de verkeersveiligheid. Bij ons op het parkeerterrein is parkeren altijd nog goedkoper dan een parkeerbon. Wij hebben een zeer beperkte parkeerruimte voor invaliden rechts naast de ingang van het marktterrein. Alleen op vertoon van uw invalidenparkeerkaart kunt u hiervan gebruik maken.
