So it is official… Come along and meet some of the Big L team at Rollerworld in Colchester on Saturday August 14th 2010<\/strong>. I\\’ll be there (that\\’s Kev) from noon along with Chirpy, Chloe, Eric, Jolly Roger, Chris Byland, Simon, Julian, Cookie, (he thinks) Rob Shaw, Paul Spindley , Steve Collett and hopefully many more of the Big L jocks. (Fellow jocks, please let either me or Chirpy know if you can make it.)
\nEntry is FREE to listeners of Big L, you don\\’t need to skate if you don\\’t want to but Rollerworld have kindly said this facility will also be free to our listeners, they\\’ll even supply the skates free of charge.
\nChirpy is supplying the music and he\\’ll be playing hits from 1967 between noon and 2pm. Then the Rollerworld DJ takes over until just before 3pm when we\\’ll remember what happened on Monday August 14th at that time. We are welcome to stay until 5pm when Rollerworld closes.
\nIt would be useful if anyone interested could let either Chirpy or myself know if you can make it so we can have an idea of numbers attending.
