\n1987. GBR. LONDON. 94.3Fm. Dave Fuller packs the RFM rig in a suitcase, catches a bus to Walthamstow, installs the rig up the block, walks round all day, takes it down and gets the bus home by midnight. All done alone. Linking now becomes more important.

\nMar 1973. GBR London. 1127 kHz MW. Radio Kaleidoscope starts broadcasts , being concerned with the too lighthearted approach to radio at the time.Broadcasts are usually Sundays 10.00-15.00, plus an FM service (KFM) via the LTIR on 94.4 FM Thirsday nights.
\nMar. 1977. FIN. 6235 kHz SW. Radio Sylvania International formed from the ashes of Radio Urbino, starts broadcasts with a 150 watt rig featuring DJ Daniel with a curious mix of Rock n roll and soul music.
\nMar. 1979. GBR Wolverhampton. 104.0 FM. Jack Jones joins UK Radio.
\nMar. 1980. GBR Wolverhampton. 104.0 FM Doug Neilson makes several attempts to damage UK Radio’s aerial
\nMar. 1982. IRL ABC Radio returns, staff includes former members of Radio Zenith, Radio Mercury and Radio Zodiac.
\nMar. 1983.
\n+ GBR Liverpool. It is believed Liverpool Broadcasting Company closed down around this time.
\n+ GBR. Liverpool. 954 kHz MW. KGW is noted this month on ‘314m’.
\nMar. 1984. GBR. London. After a tip off during a raid, Horizon Radio asks the Gas Board if their broadcasts have been causing interference. It turns out the Gas Board are using unfiltered equipment. After some experimentation, they discover any rig above 102.6 mHz is going to cause interference to the Gas Board. They therefore move from 104.5 to 102.5 and no interference is noted. Other stations are informed of this.
\nMar. 1985.
\n+ NED. 1508 kHz MW. In this month Radio Orang Utang starts broadcasts. This frequency is also used by Radio Torenvalk, when they are not on their usual 1094 kHz channel
\n+ GBR Colchester. East FM starts broadcssts, initially from behind the counter of a record shop in the town centre. After 4 broadcasts the station increases poerr from 20 to 50 watts, moves to new premises and moves frequency to 95.3 FM. DJs are Garry Lee and Jay.Johnson.
\nMar. 1987. GBR. Colchester. 90.9 FM. Radio Freedom closes down and Freedon Overflow takes over. Each Broadcast has its own title and there is a radio party of some sort.<\/p>\n
