London. 92.4 mHz VHF. VHF FM broadcasts soon catch on, and soul station Radio Invicta starts using 94.8 mHz VHF weekday evenings. However, it is not initially on FM on this frequency, but AM using a modified PMR set\u2026<br \/>\n* GBR. London. 94.4 FM. Another station, run by a TV engineer, Abe Cohen, Radio Aquarius, starts broadcasts, and forms the LTIR, or London Transmitter of Independant Radio. This is to involve other stations, but unlike Radio Free London and the Helen Broadcasting Network, all these stations come from the one transmitter, not various different ones that turned on and off in turn and could only be heard in different places. Relaying has come of age. Stations thus relayed include: Radio Jackie, Radio Star, Radio London Underground [RLU], JFM [Which grew out of the Jackie VHF Saturday night service], Radio Classic and Radio Odyssey [Ideally I would like start dates and end dates of these stations]<br \/>\nFeb. 1977<br \/>\n* GBR. London. 1358 kHz MW. Around this time, LMR starts suffering from internal divisions, and is soon to close down. However, this only happens a few Sundays after two different &#8216;LMR&#8217;s appear on the same day, one from the Usual Sundridge Park site and the other from Mottingham!<br \/>\n* FIN. 6255 kHz SW. Weekends. Radio Red Lion starts broadcasting. It only lasts a few weeks. The Radio Delmare transmitter remains off the air this month, Free Radio Service Holland negotiates relays with two Irish stations, Radio Rainbow International and International Radio Relay Service [IRRS], Rainbow will relay 1 hour on the 2nd Sunday of the month, and IRRS will broadcast 3 hours each on the 3rd and 4th Sundays<br \/>\n* GBR.
