DX QUIZ 2009

In 2009 the Ardic DX Club celebrates its 11th anniversary. For 11 years it has been the primary source of information for dxing enthusiasts all over the Tamil Nadu, India. In order to celebrate this event, a quiz is being organised. The quiz is open to anyone, regardless of location or club membership. The quiz does not solely deal with Tamil Dxing, but covers very different radio aspects. Answering following 25 questions you can show your radio knowledge.

No quiz without prizes of course. You wish to contribute a prize? Please contact me! And to make the contest interesting to everybody, a few prizes will be given anomaly to entrants. So if the questions look hard, participate anyway.

Every entry will get the special pennant in the memory of The External Services of All India Radio’s 70th anniversary. Every entry must send one reception report of any frequency of All India Radio for the 70th anniversary special QSL. Indian listeners must send Rs.10/- mint stamp for postage and International listeners must send 2 IRC or 2 US $.

DSWCI Contest: The Super Grand Tour with Cancer and Capricorn

Der Danish Shortwave Club International veranstaltet zum 21. Mal den DX Contest “The Grand Tour with Cancer and Capricorn”. Diesmal sogar als “Super Grand Tour”, weil der Contest zum letzten Mal von Jaroslav Bohac durchgeführt wird. Ob es nächstes Jahr wieder einen Contest geben wird, ist unsicher. Möglicherweise handelt es sich um die letzte Gelegenheit, dieses Diplom zu erlangen.

Der Wettbewerb läuft vom 23. November bis 20. Dezember 2009. Einsendeschluss ist der 31. Dezember 2009 (Poststempel). Teilnehmen können alle, unabhängig von einer Mitgliedschaft in einem DX-Club.

Stimme Russlands – HÖRERTREFFEN IN BERLIN AM 28. NOVEMBER 2009

Der deutschsprachige Sendedienst der „Stimme Russlands“ will den 80.
Gründungstag des Senders zusammen mit Ihnen feiern. Aus diesem Anlass veranstalten wir am Sonnabend dem 28. November 2009 in Berlin das traditionelle Hörertreffen. Wir werden nicht nur über die Geschichte reden, sondern vielmehr über die digitale Gegenwart und Zukunft des Senders.
Auch über die Politik und den Alltag im heutigen Russland sowie über die deutsch-russischen Beziehungen nach den Bundestagswahlen wollen wir mit Ihnen bei diesem Treffen diskutieren. Die „Stimme Russlands“ wird durch die Abteilungsleiterin Valentina Choschewa und den Moderator der Sendung „Spektrum“ Nikolaj Jolkin präsentiert. Ihre Fragen und Stellungnahmen sind willkommen.
Anschließend laden wir Sie herzlich zu einem traditionellen geselligen Beisammensein mit Getränken und russischen Spezialitäten ein.
Das Treffen findet um 12 Uhr (Einlass ab 11 Uhr) im Haus der Wissenschaft und Kultur der Russischen Föderation statt: Berlin, Friedrichstraße, 176-179, U-Bahn: Französische Straße oder Stadtmitte.

The RMRC plans to start the CHAT at about 19:00 UTC on 14. November 2009.
