As from yesterday 3 of January 2023 the Italian medium wave licensed station Regional Radio has started broadcasting on 1440 kHz, too. It seems that this frequency replaces 1584 kHz which is being legally used in Italy also by Radiodiffusione Europea and Radio Studio X. According to its website www.regionalradio.eu the station broadcasts also on 1359 and 1485 kHz with the aim of covering the cental region of Umbria and the provinces of Rome, Rieti and Viterbo in Lazio.
