+ GBR. Bromley. 92.0 FM. Radio Argus London increases its FM output, by means of an amplifier that can be plugged into the original rig. It gets the station out well, but can drift in frequency and cause TVI. One problem being that the low wattage driver drifts downwards, while the amp drifts upwards in frequency!

A lot of staff feel unable to continue on the station, and say good-bye or have already left. Also, the raid on Radio Caroline has made the news and some feel the whole Free Radio thing is lost.

+ GBR. London. 92.0 FM. Rock FM [RFM] (which by now has moved to share RFL’s 92.0 FM frequency) DJ Mark Rogers plays the Beatles ‘All you need is love,’ a dedication for Radio Caroline, suggested by Radio Argus London, but meant by all the listeners and staff of both stations.
