Roger van Dam (MaevaFM) RIP

Vriend en radio-dj Roger van Dam (MaevaFM) deze week overleden.
Afgelopen week overleed Roger van Dam op 80 jarige leeftijd. Hij vormde samen met Nicole Bonnet, Philippe Bonne, Eric Hofman en Rudy van Acoleyen de directie van MaevaFM, het Vlaamse radionetwerk op FM en digitale kortegolf (DRM) de voorzetting van het legendarische radio Maeva.
Roger presenteerde jarenlang de Lunch Expres bij MaevaFM en stond Eric Hofman bij in de programmaleiding. In januari 26 zal Tivoli Road aandacht besteden aan deze gedreven en markante radiovriend, die voor altijd in ons hart zal blijven.

Radio Igloo 14 December 2025

On Sunday, December 14, Radio Igloo will be on air with our brand new Christmas program.
Tune in to 1620 kHz (or a nearby free frequency) at 19:00 UTC for our new Christmas show.
We will be playing Christmas songs that you don’t hear every day on other radio stations or in large supermarkets.
We will also talk a bit about special (strange?) Swedish Christmas traditions.
As always, correct reports, preferably with an audio clip of your reception, will be rewarded with our brand new e-QSL.
