Vandaag hebben we ondersteuning geboden aan een actie van het Agentschap Telecom in de gemeente Staphorst. Daarbij zijn acht illegale zendmasten in beslag genomen. De actie was bedoeld om de soms grootschalige overlast die het gevolg is van illegaal FM gebruik te stoppen. Deze overlast bestaat niet alleen uit verdrukking van de uitzendingen van legale zenders, maar er zijn ook risico’s op verstoring van het telefoonverkeer -waaronder de alarmnummers-, het communicatiesysteem van de hulpdiensten en het vliegverkeer.
