Radio Igloo 6 April 2022 6185 Khz

Hello all Radio Igloo lovers

Last summer, on June 3rd, we broadcast a program via WRMI in Florida. In the program we informed about The Westcoast DX-Club and members of the club introduced themselves and played their favorite music.

Unfortunately, the broadcast was not heard very well in Europe and it was also transmitted in the middle of the night.
We have received several requests for a replay from a transmitter in Europe and at a time that suits us better.

This will take place on Wednesday, April 6th at 18.00 -19.00 UTC on the frequency 6185 kHz.

We hope and believe that this broadcast will be well heard throughout Europe and that our information and music will be appreciated.

Radio 60 Easter broadcast

At easter erdenman from Radio60 will organizes together with his two radio colleagues Gunter (Hitmix-Radio) and Toon (Telstar-Radio) a shortwave program. The live broadcast will run on Easter Saturday, 04/16/2022 from 11:00 to 14:00 UTC (13:00 – 16:00 CEST) on 6045 kHz with 100kW from Nauen/Germany. Broadcasting will be live and in sequence from three different studios. Reception reports to radio60(at)gmx.de will be answered with an eQSL.
Zu Ostern veranstaltet erdenman von Radio60 zusammen mit seinen beiden Radiokollegen Gunter (Hitmix-Radio) und Toon (Telstar-Radio) wieder mal eine Kurzwellenprogramm. Die Live-Sendung läuft am Ostersamstag, den 16.04.2022 von 11:00 bis 14:00 UTC (13:00 – 16:00 MESZ) auf der 6045 kHz mit 100kW aus Nauen/Deutschland. Gesendet wird live und nacheinander aus drei verschiedenen Studios. Empfangsberichte an radio60(at)gmx.de beantworten wir mit einer eQSL.

Deze uitzending loopt op Paaszaterdag, 16.04.2022, van 11:00 tot 14:00 UTC (13:00 – 16:00 CEST) op 6045 kHz met 100kW vanuit Nauen/Duitsland. Het wordt live en achtereenvolgens vanuit drie verschillende studio’s gedraait. Ontvangstberichten naar radio60(at)gmx.de zullen worden beantwoord met een eQSL.

Moin aus dem Norden! Radio Sylvia geht wieder live: Am 2. April um 18 Uhr entern wir unser Studio Nord und bringen euch sechs Stunden gepflegten Lärm. Hervorzuheben wären unsere Neuheiten-Show von 19 bis 20 Uhr und ganz besonders die “Stunde der Wahrheit” (22 bis 23 Uhr), in der unser Studiogast Johnny Raw einen neuen Punk-Sampler präsentieren wird 👍. DVD “The Offshore Years Revisited No. 18: The Radio Mi Amigo Story”
In the Benelux, Radio Mi Amigo is, next to Radio Veronica, probably the offshore station that evokes the most memories, but also a lot of emotions. Not coincidentally, there have been numerous reunions in the past almost 5 decades, especially in Flanders, and several Radio Mi Amigo reincarnations are broadcasting on the Internet. Many Mi Amigo disc jockeys from the offshore era also seem full of nostalgia and enthusiastically participate in such projects. Radio Mi Amigo was active on two radio ships during the period 1974-1979. The OEM team has done an excellent job of comprehensively and almost completely documenting the history of this impressive radio station. This two and a half hour video consists of a fascinating firework of video and sound recordings with countless photos, jingles, tunes and recordings from the exciting history of the offshore station. One gets the impression that really every historically significant aspect and every employee are mentioned in sound and vision, and even the short time span of the broadcasts from the MV Magdalena is looked at in particular detail. As with any OEM production, a goosebump feeling immediately sets in with the viewer. The time in “exile” in Playa de Aro is presented in particular detail, with many video recordings in excellent quality, but also countless newspaper clippings, photos and interviews. Without any doubt, the new DVD (or even Blu-Ray) should not be missing in any collection.
