Radio Day 2014

In March 2014, it will be exactly 50 years ago that Radio Caroline started its transmissions from the MV Fredericia off the British coast. And beyond that it will be 40 years ago that Radio Veronica and Radio Nordsee International as the most prominent watery wireless stations off the Dutch coast had to close down. This is the reason why we thought that the Radio Day 2014 must become an even bigger event than usual.

The Radio Day 2014 will take place on Saturday 22nd March 2014 (take notice of the amended date) in Hotel Casa 400 in Amsterdam, Eerste Ringdijkstraat 4. Doors will be open from 10:00h CET. The Radio Day will take place from 10:30 to 18:00h CET. Admission is € 15,-. There’s no need to order a ticket in advance.

Vanaf 10.00 uur in de ochtend zal de zaal open zijn. De Radio Day zal om 10.30 uur beginnen en om 18.00 uur eindigen. Toegang is 15,- €. Het is niet nodig een ticket vooruit te bestellen of te reserveren.

Ook dit jaar bestaat weer de mogelijkheid donateur van de Stichting Media Communicatie te worden door 14 Euro over te maken naar:

Voor dit bedrag ontvang je gratis toegang tot de digitale editie van het Freewave Media Magazine tot en met februari 2014; ontvang je het digitale boek dat je een halve eeuw terug brengt in de tijd naar het jaar 1964, geschreven door Hans Knot. Dit boek zal in het begin van de zomer van 2014 verschijnen.

Tevens krijg je een donateurskaart op naam toegestuurd, die tevens geldt als toegangsbewijs voor de RadioDay op 22 maart 2014 in Casa 400 te Amsterdam.
