Die woechentlichen RADIO JOYSTICK-Ausstrahlungen via “Radio Seagull” beginnen am 2. Februar 2007. Gesendet wird auf 1602 kHz mit 1 kW. Die NF-Technik unserer Relaystation befindet sich auf einem ausgemusterteten englischen Leuchtfeuerschiff, das im Frieslaendischen Seehafen Harlingen vor Anker liegt.
Ab 20:00 Uhr Ortszeit gibt es “Funky Sounds 4 Central Europe” dreisprachig auf die Ohren; Empfang ist – gerade jetzt zur dunkleren Jahreszeit – sogar bis Suedeutschland moeglich!
Jede show dauert genau 60 Minuten und koennte sogar Werbespots enthalten. Dank “Optimod”-Verbesserung wird aus jeder mit Bitrate 128 kbps weitergeleiteten MP3-Datei, die die Sendung enthaelt, ein Hoergenuss.
Der Chef von “Radio Seagull” hoert auf den Namen “Sietse Brouwer”. Er machte zum Ausklang der 90er Jahre Schlagzeilen mit dem Versuch, ein niederlaendisches “Radio Caroline” aufzubauen, das allerdings nichts mit der gleichnamigen Legende zu tun hatte.
Vor 2 Jahren startete er dann “Radio Waddenzee”, dass sich immer noch tagsueber an Touristen wendet, sowie “Radio Seagull”, dass abends und nachts in englisch alternativen Rock verbreitet.
Einige Male sendete “Radio Seagull” auch via Ulbroka – so wie wir es tun!
Da der erste MittelWellenMonat als “Probezeit” gilt, werden wir uns zwar mit Veroeffentlichungen zum Thema zurueckhalten, sind aber umso mehr auf Empfangsberichte unserer Hoerer angewiesen!
Also gilt fuer die “Prime Time” jeden Freitagabend: Fernseher aus – Radio an!
An der Musik wird der interessierte Hoerer uns schnellstens erkennen: wir sind die einizigen, die auf 1602 kHz KEINEN alternativen Rock senden 🙂

THe station on 6225 Khz seems to be have gone at 1830 Utc , now SINPO 24433. The two guys are announcing sunday morning transmission between 10 and 11.
