This rig had been a spare, before being converted to Shortwave, and had been modified back to MW by Simon when Short Wave had been abandoned. Bill Lyons then drives to Saltash and collects the 1494 kHz rig from the closed down Radio Argus Plymouth service and brings it back to Jane’s new place where the broadcasts are coming from. He is to then walk away from the station for a while.
