23 Feb 1920. GBR. Writtle. The Marconi Company start regular unlicensed transmissions, half an hour long, repeated later in the day
23 Feb. 1974. Offshore. 1187 kHz MW. Regular broadcasts of Radio Caroline resmue from the Mi Amigo, replacing Radio Seagull. By now Radio Mi Amigo is the established daytime service and Radio Caroline operates from now at night.
23 Feb. 1983. GBR Bermondsey. 103.8 FM. Our Radio is busted.
23 Feb. 1985. GBR Wolverhampton. 17.30. The dti is spotted in an unmarked car. UK Radio switches off and avoids a raid… this time.
