So… On This Day. June 20th.

Hello everyone. On This Day is a bit later than usual as Bill Lyons has been doing a lot of digging and emailing me, and incorporating a text file into a word document can be time consuming, but another big chunk of Argus history is at least in two places now, and more will hopefully follow.
So… On This Day. June 20th.
20 Jun. 1982 NED. Free Radio Service Holland [FRSH] is on air today. [it is not confirmed whether this is on 7315 or 7325 kHz SW], due to conditions the signal reaches longer than usual distances, but is not receivable in the usual areas closer to the site.
20 Jun. 1983 GBR Twickenham. 1503 kHz MW. On air 7 days a week, Sovereign Radio is on air today
20 Jun. 1984

+ GBR Saltash. 1494 kHz MW. Radio Argus Plymouth is on air today with taped shows 06:00-10:00 and 15:00-19:00 [this was a low powered idea with an aerial slung between a couple of apple trees, and was heard more in Saltash than Plymouth]

and that’s it for today unless something has been missed? Please let me know 🙂
Regards,
Bert
