The plan is to close down officially, as a result of the raids and the threat of legal action being taken by licensed commercial station, Radio Mercury who complains that Radio Jackie is stealing their listeners. This says a lot for Radio Jackie’s programmes, often with a weak signal, and nothing about Radio Murcury’s, which have considerably higher power and are 24 hours. The dti even raid the MW site, on 1332 kHz as the station is officially closing down. The FM is left to finally close the station down at 19:05.
