RFM leaves a ‘ping’ on LWR’s link frequency, which drives them nuts. …Around this time BBC Radio 3 starts getting complaints of interference to their signal from several people living in LWR’s tower block opposite Leyton Orient’s Football ground.

It fired up at 18:30! Not as powerful as the 1602 kHz service, nonetheless it gets out almost as well as the FM in places.
