Radio Spaceshuttle is on 9290 Khz LSB-mode at 1735 Utc with O=2/3. Different not well-known music and some pop-music from the 80th and 90th is played. An diesem Samstag veranstalten wir wieder das Treffen für Radiomacher und Hörer in den Räumen des Observatoriums. Die Veranstaltung findet von 14.00 Uhr bis 21.00 Uhr der Sternwarte Neanderhöhe SNH, in 40699 Erkrath statt. Einlass ist ab 12.00 Uhr.
Programmpunkte:
-Kurzwelle mit Relais : MV BalticRadio und Radio Marabu.
-Eine Expedition zum Red-Sands Fort in der Themse-Mündung. Im Sommer besuchten drei deutsche Offshore-Fans diese Anlage. Die künstliche Insel diente in den sechziger Jahren als Basis für die Station Radio 390. Inzwischen kümmert sich eine Stiftung in England um den Erhalt des Forts. Robin Adcroft von der Stiftung und Graham Gill , seinerzeit als DJ bei Radio 390 tätig gewesen , sind Gäste unserer Veranstaltung .
-Bürgerfunk in NRW : hat die Zukunft schon begonnen ?
Die Regierung von NRW beabsichtigt eine Neuregelung des Bürgerfunks in einer Novelle des Landesmediengesetzes. Dazu wird die “Volpers-Studie” gern von der Politik und der Landesmedienanstalt in ihren Schlußfolgerungen zitiert.Wenn man die Studie liest , dann muß man nicht zwingend zu den gleichen Schlußfolgerungen kommen. Zur Klärung der IST-Situation und zur Erläuterung der politischen Zielsetzung erwarten wir eine spannende und hochaktuelle Diskussionsrunde für die beiden Verbände des Bürgerfunks in NRW , LBF und IGR , ihre Teilnahme zugesagt haben.
Veranstaltungsort :
Vom Düsseldorfer Hauptbahnhof aus fährt man mit der S -Bahn Linie S 8 in Richtung Hagen Wuppertal bis Haltepunkt Hochdahl-Millrath, geht dann in Fahrtrichtung an der Landstraße bis zum Hausmannsweg . An diesem liegt nach ein paar hundert Metern das Observatorium. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto ab der Autobahn Abfahrt Haan-West der A 46 ist im Ort Erkrath ausgeschildert.

Listen to the off-air recordings of July and August 2006. Remember the Laser Hot Hits shows which arrived quite good at evening. Also many dutch and UK-stations were received though propagation conditions were not always good.

Radio Likedeeler is on the air on 6310 Khz at 1945 Utc. Reception is fair with O=3, some fading and noise on frequency. Onkel Bernhard plays nice music from the 70th.
On 6303 Khz there is a strong noise carrier but 6310 Khz is away enough.

Radio Marylin is on 6210 Khz at 1805 Utc. Reception is fair to good with O=3/4, this time with longer announcements and easy listening music.
Radio Zodiac
Radio Zodiac is rocking the shortwave bands on 6312 Khz at 1800 Utc. Reception is good with O=3/4, some fading on frequency but a free channel.
Mystery Radio
Mystery Radio is on 6220 Khz at 1750 Utc. Reception is good with O=4 and the usual pop and dance selection is played. Emails go to mysteryradio(@)googlemail.com.
Zender Golfbreker
Zender Golfbreker can be heard with polkas on 6300 Khz at 1715 Utc. Sometimes interference from Reflections Europe on 6295 Khz but all in all a good signal and O=3/4, some fading on frequency. SMS number + 31 623765101 and the email-address is radiogolfbreker1(@)hotmail.com.
UNID 6310 Khz
Listened for more than a hour on 6310 Khz from 1200 Utc. Nonstop pop- and dance songs, no ID no announcement. Reception was quite good with O=4. May be it is Radio Malaisy, but where are the IDs gone ?
Westcoast Radio
Westcoast Radio is on air on 6280 Khz at 1200 Utc. Reception is fair with O=3/4, some noise and fading on frequency. Programme is various pop- and rock-songs from the 60th through the 80th.
At 1200 Utc another station was on 6300 Khz, now lost in fading. On 6310 Khz there is nonstop pop-music with a strong signal O=4, may be Radio Malaisy, but still no announcement.
WR International
WR International can be heard at 0935 Utc on 12256 Khz with O=2. Signal is very weak S=3 but free frequency. Signal is fading in and out frequently so no armchair listening. Have stored frequency in the memory bank of my receiver, may be reception will improve.
Zender Paardenkracht
Zender Paardenkracht can be heard with nice Oldies on 6324 Khz at 0915 Utc. Reception is good with O=4. The station played nonstop Oldies from the 60th for more than a hour. At 0915 Utc short ID.
48m band very quiet this morning.
Radio Victoria
Radio Victoria plays nice pop-songs of the 80th on 6270 Khz at 0900 Utc. Reception is good with O=4, but also a bit unstable.
UNIDs
So far only UNIDs this morning. At 0810 Utc heard a station on 6324 Khz with Oldies and at 0835 Utc heard a station on 6270 Khz with 80th pop-music. Both stations fading in and out several times up to O=4. So very unstable conditions and the morning is quiet.
WR International on bank holiday
Hi guys,
Just to let you know that as it is a bank holiday here in the UK, WR International will be on air Sunday 27th August and Monday 28th August. The frequency is as always 12256 Khz.
Mondays program will be all Motown and Northern Soul so some classic tunes will be aired Monday.

Radio Spaceman with guests in the studio is on 3927 Khz at 2140 Utc. Signal is booming in with S=9+10dB and O=4. Nice rock songs are played. At closedown all SMS and calls are mentioned.
The Bogusman
Tentative The Bogusman is on air on 6295 Khz at 2125 Utc. Reception is good with O=3/4, some fading on frequency. Programme is much talk.
Radio Mazda
Radio Mazda is with dutch music on air on 6305 Khz at 2125 Utc. Reception is good with S=9 and O=4, some fading on frequency. Email-address is radiomazda(@)hotmail.com. At the end of transmission greetings go to listeners who have called the station.
48m band is open with dutch stations on 6268 Khz, 6280 Khz and 6400 Khz at 2120 Utc also. Some stations fade out 10 minutes later.
Radio Marylin
Radio Marilyn is received on 6220 Khz at 1710 Utc with O=3/4. Nonstop pop-music and short announcements, e.g. a street address in Bologna is announced. First I assumed it is Mystery Radio, as it is a huge signal, may be station is relayed via Mystery Radio.
Besides Radio Marylin no station received on 48m Band the whole morning and afternoon. So seems to be long-skip conditions again.
Laser Hot Hits off air
23 August 2006 – After 12 years of successful broadcasting to Europe, we have reluctantly been forced to shutdown our shortwave transmissions. This is due to action from the radio authorities.
