7 Mar. 1978. IRL. Dublin. 1170 kHz MW. ARD is noted today with Paul O Connor, Rinan Collins, Dr.Don, Jason Maine, Dave C, Peigin Doyle, Paul Fowney and Gerry Ryan.
7 Mar. 1987. GBR. Dave Crowley leaves RFM. He has not recorded a programme.
Note other events occured on tgese dates but outside the two decades on the 70s and 80s.
I also am very grateful for all the information in the comments to these posts. I have a load more things to add, as well as the heaps of stuff from the current times, so it is keeping me busy! 🙂

1972. GBR Ealing. Radio Nelson is raided today in the middle of their weekly broadcast. This is their second raid.
1983. GBR Epsom Downs. 90.0 FM. Surrey Sounds is busted today, during their final show of the day, at 16.40, having been on air since midday. Rob James and Martin Hill are caught and subsequently fined £440 each. This, combined with no spare parts, puts the station off air permanently
Does anyone know what frequency Radio Nelson was on please?
