RADIO MONIQUE INTERNATIONAAL BLIJFT OP DE MIDDENGOLF.
De afgelopen weken waren een beetje spannend.
De kosten om Radio Monique in de lucht te houden gaan het komend jaar weer stijgen.
Daarnaast moeten we de komende weken weer de mast in om wat onwillige antennedraden te vervangen.
Inderdaad de zoute lucht in Velsen tast de draden iets sneller aan dan gewenst. Eigenlijk wisten we dat ook wel.
Om kosten te besparen besloten we dan maar de AM uit te zetten.
Dat hebben we geweten.
Een storm van protest van onze huidige AM-luisteraars, geloof het of niet, maar we kregen ze binnen.
Diep in ons hart wisten wij ook wel dat een (oud) zeezender toch gewoon op AM thuishoort.
Nog meer goed nieuws?
De AM blijft dus aan staan, maar we hebben bij het Agentschap Telecom een nieuwe frequentie aangevraagd waardoor Radio Monique Internationaal nog beter op AM te beluisteren is.
Naast het bovenstaande hebben we in de afgelopen dagen vruchtbare gesprekken gehad met een collega-station.
Daar is uit voortgekomen dat de twee stations worden samengesmolten, dat betekent dat Radio Monique Internationaal ook in een ander gedeelte van Nederland te beluisteren is.
Natuurlijk moeten er eerst nog wat puntjes op de i worden gezet, maar houden jullie op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen.
Helaas zijn we de afgelopen periode door de onzekerheid van de afgelopen weken wel wat medewerkers kwijtgeraakt.
Namens Radio Monique internationaal willen we deze mensen hartelijk bedanken voor hun enorme inzet de afgelopen periode en
wensen hun veel succes met eventuele nieuwe uitdagingen.

Summermeeting 6 July 2024

De SWCHolland Summermeeting zal op Zaterdag 6 Juli 2024 plaatsvinden.
